Fundraising

Fr. Michael O'Sullivan, a former parish priest of Corduff, has been working the missions in Tanzania for a number of years now.

We held a raffle at our production of "Wish Upon a Star" in Draíocht and raised a grand total of €1,000. Fr. Michael is thrilled with the donation and we would like to thank our generous sponsors again for the great prizes.

Seachtain na Gaeilge

Seachtain na Gaeilge atá ann!
Táimid go léir ag déanamh iarracht Gaeilge a labhairt agus táimid ag imirt cluichí teanga inár ranganna.
Beidh tráth na gceist ar siúl sa halla agus beidh ceolchorm beag againn ar an Aoine. Táimid ag cleachtadh amhráin agus rannta agus táimid ag súil go mór leis. Beidh na múinteoirí ag tabhairt duaiseanna do na daltaí a dhéanann an iarracht is mó Gaeilge a labhairt sa sheachtain. Go n-éirí le gach duine!

World Book Day

We celebrated World Book Day last week.

At 10.00 a.m. we had D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) Time. We all read books from our class libraries.

At 11.00 a.m. we had a visitor from Second Class. The visitors brought Big Books from our school library and read stories in each class. They were great readers and we really enjoyed the stories.
