New School Building

Parent/Guardians,
We are urging you to join our campaign to get the new school built.  We would like you to e-mail all the local T.D.s with the following message.

"Corduff National Schools were informed by the Department of Education and Skills in 2007 that their buildings were beyond economic repair and required a replacement.
Eight years later we are still waiting for a school building adequate to the needs of the community. Imagine what a new school would mean to Corduff.

Do we have your support?"

2016 Easter Rising Centenary

On the 29th September 2015, members from the Irish Army came for a special visit to St. Patrick's JNS.  We were presented with the Irish Flag and a copy of the Proclamation of Independence.  This is the begining of an initiative marking the Easter Rising centenary.  As part of this programme pupils will be invited to write a new proclamation to reflect the hopes and aspirations of their generation. Proclamation Day will be celebrated in our school on the 15th March 2016.
