School Assembly

At assembly today we were reminded of the importance of being kind. Ms Kirwan and all the teachers are going to be on the look out for children being kind to each other.
Room 14 won the WOW award. This is for the most children who walked, cycled, jogged or carpooled to school on Wednesdays.

Ms Cronin, Mrs Dixon, Mrs Breen and Ms Elliott's classes won the attendance award for this week. We were all reminded to be on the line at 9.

Assembly finished with 2nd Class singing 'Its a small world'.

Science Week

As part of Science week, Ms Kirwan invited The Brickx Club into the school. All the children had a great time building and designing with Lego. The children designed a land for dinosaurs, a zoo for animals as well as a ship yard, houses and robots. Lego is a wonderful way to engage children's imaginations as well as developing so many skills both physically and mentally.
