Big Book Reading

Thanks to all the adults who gave up their time and talents to help run Big Book Reading in Junior and Senior Infants. The children really enjoyed it. Parental involvement in reading has a long-standing record of being such a positive influence on children's reading. We hope you found the reading strategies useful that Ms.Greene guided you through.

Senior Infant Tour

Senior Infants went on their exciting school tour today. We went to see 'The Forest of Grimm' and followed on to the Millenium Park. They had lots of fun at the show and at the playground.

1st Holy Communion Day

Th e First Holy Communion Day took place on Saturday 11th May. The children were very well prepared by their teachers and parents. A wonderful day was had by all.

Parents' Association

A meeting will be held in the Parents' Room based in the Senior School at 9:15 am on Tuesday 14th May to discuss the formation of joint Parents' Association for the Junior and Senior Schools. All are welcome to attend.

Lollipop Lady

Fingal Council has informed the school that there will be only one lollipop lady on duty this week.
As the Blackcourt Road is the busy main road, this area will be supervised. Accordingly we would ask you to advise your children to be extra careful when crossing the road at the shops and to use the pedestrian lights.
